For various reasons, I have migrated almost my entire operation over to Yellow Dog Linux running on a stack of PowerMac 7200/120's. I have only a single Mac OS box (running 8.5) in the server farm, specifically for running SIMS.
I've been running SIMS on a YellowDog box for a long time now, using Mac-on-Linux. Works 100% perfectly. I posted details here a long time ago (2-3 yrs ago?), if there is a way to search the archive (I've forgotten how), you can find it there. Otherwise, if you're interested, let me know and I'm available for questions (but I suspect you'll find it pretty much a no-brainer).
