I am wanting to know several questions about how heavy a load Sims
can take. Just for background purposes we are using SIMS as SMTP
only and are using the most recent version on a 6100/66 with 72 megs
of ram on a 768K DSL connection. Sims have 4 megs of ram allocated
to it and does not seem to ever need more no matter how heavey the
load is.
1. How large a load of email's can I throw at Sims, with the current
settings I have?
2. Can I send, 10,000, 2,500 or less before it will die or not send
email this large at all?
3. How should I adjust my TCP Cannels for sending large amounts of email?
4. No I am not a spammer, I just have a very large database (35,000)
of past clients who have ordered products from one of our clients,
and wish to send out a special offer.
Thanks,
Jeff Logan
