Conversely ordb is pretty dissapointing because it had first crack at all the spams and missed most of them.
Don't forget that ORDB lists open relays only.
In fact ORDB (and other open relay DNSBLs) have done such a good job at blocking open relays that spammers that most spammers have switched to open proxies. The fact ORDB now gets less hits basically means we owe ORDB thanks for winning the open relay war. As open proxies are by far the biggest problem now, definitely keep opm.blitzed.org and add cbl.abuseat.org (also proxies.blackholes.easynel.nl is good)
You might try switching the order of SPEWS and SBL and see how they compare.
SBL and SPEWS tend to overlap a fair amount as both target known spammers, the main difference is that the SBL does it without false positives and has a fast refresh rate (IPs are added/removed every hour 24/7). Putting SBL before SPEWS would normally reverse the numbers in favour of the SBL.
