What the devil is the 'LAST' POP3 command? I'm guessing it's a MS thing.
Nope, part of POP (deprecated, I believe). LAST says something like "set the curent message to the last message I accessed on a previous connection." Or something like that. A very poor-man's IMAP?
I have clients trying to use Yahoo to access their POP SIMS mailboxes and they get: 'POP server does not support LAST command. You may only retrieve POP mail from this server using "get all messages". ' Unfortunately, Yahoo doesn't then tell them how to 'Get All Messages'.
Clues?
