I've missed a few digests because of mail server issues, so I don't know 
if anybody replied to my first plea for help:

But, contrary to my statements above, the "Resubmit_message" AppleScript 
DID work... my secondary was at fault because it was not passing to the 
primary after the messages were "un-failed".

So, I retract my previous "complaints" about the AppleScript and return 
you to your regular programming.
