One of the admins I know just told me he wasted an entire morning fixing a WINS issue that was caused by VeriSign's new wildcard records.
He told me he plans to invoice VeriSign for the time to fix the problem, and more importantly, he will be CC'ing the invoice to various computer news sites and journals (in the hopes of starting a trend of people invoicing them for issues related to it). May not do much, but its funny to know how some people are choosing to strike back.
