Hey everyone, got a question.

I've seen so much discussion on here about spam-fighting, figuring out where suspicious emails come from, blacklisting their IPs, etc. Gotta admit, though, I'm still clear as mud about this whole, 'Header-thing.' In other words, I know you can use the 'envelope' part of the header to determine where a message comes from, (I think,) but what exactly do I look for? Below is a sample header from one of the messages in question. Perhaps someone here can point out where I need to be looking -- the exact line would be nice... <grin!>

Believe it, or not, I finally figured out how to get Eudora to display all the gory details of a message's header, now, I just need to know how to use what I've discovered. I realize that spammers are a 'moving target' and trying to blacklist the IPs of any junk mail I recieve might be an exercise in futility, all the same, I know many of you on here are pretty stubborn about the fight, and being admin of my own SIMS server, I'd like to do all I can in this 'war' as it were!

Any help is sure appreciated! I'm a newbie, not a grizzled veteran, and not ashamed to admit it! :-)

Regards,
