I am running the latest version of SIMS on a G4 - 400 machine. This machine is also being used as a fax server (20 in a day so very minor) and is my alternate DNS server.

What is happening is that when I turn on "use Blacklist DNS Server(s)" checking - a lot of mail servers cannot see us anymore (they get no response from our mail server). Here is the warning I get when I run the domain through dnsreport.com.

Error: I could not connect to any of your mailservers!
mail.macexperts.ab.ca: timed out [last data sent: HELO test.DNSreport.com]

When I turn the checking off it is all fine but the spam gets through.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? It even happens when I turn off any other application running on this machine. In fact I can watch the check from dnsreport.com come in but no reply goes out when the checking is on.

Thanks
