I usually report the spam to the relevant ISP's abuse@ address, especially if the IP of origin appears to be some clueless idiot's unsecured Windows box on a residential cable or DSL line. If the spam originates someplace from which legitimate mail addressed to my domain is very unlikely to come, I blacklist the entire enclosing netblock.
