I have been following this list to some degree, as I use SIMS for our
company mail server.

I notice a few people have tried to find solution to SPAM/Virus issue using
software at the server to filter out the unwanted's.

I like to know has anyone tried/used network services that offer to
filter/scan you emails by routing your email thru at the DNS level by
entering an MX record to another company who then forwards the cleaned mail
to your server.

I was pointed to this website from a posting on SPAM/virus issue.

I burb from there website
http://espscan.com/
> Set-up is done simply by adding an MX Record (mail pointer) for your domain
> name to route mail to ESP Scan first. ESP Scan is configured to deliver
> everything to your current mail server in real time while protecting all
> incoming traffic from viruses. There's no software or server to buy or
> install and no changes to any user set-ups.

I know there is extra costs involved, but this problem getting out of hand
for a small company like ours.

Thanks
James

The box said 'Requires Windows 95, or better.' So I bought a Macintosh.
