Hi

I'm using SIMS/Communigator on my SE/30.

This morning I found the SMTP and POP windows showing me 'Problem' .... without any explanation. The logs also don't tell me what the problem is. Logging was set to Major & failures (since reset to Problems).

I thought I'd move the entire mail server over to a spare Performa (68K machine). I installed SIMS and Communigator. I then wanted to retain all my old settings, blacklist, users etc. So I copied the Communigator Folder from the SE/30 System Folder (OS7.5.5) to the Performa System Folder (OS8.1). Same for the Prefs file in the Preferences folder.

It looks like the user names and settings have been copied over. However I can't locate my log files and, most important, my blacklist.

Where would these reside on the SE/30? Can I just copy those files over and have the use of them? Or do I need to set up everything all over again?

Any words of wisdom?
