At 6:02 PM -0400 4/12/04, Stefan Jeglinski imposed structure on a stream of electrons, yielding:
15:12:28 1 SMTP-729([66.59.80.207]) SPAM? Host is blacklisted per RBL sbl.spamhaus.org with result [127.0.0.2]
15:12:29 2 SMTP-729(mail27b-platinum.soel5347.com) {S.0000114797} received, 5283 bytes
15:12:29 2 SYSTEM [S.0000114797] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 0+1 From:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
15:12:29 2 SYSTEM(POP) [S.0000114797] delivered to (davilla)
15:12:29 2 SYSTEM [S.0000114797] deleted
15:14:16 3 SMTP-729(mail27b-platinum.soel5347.com) Rcv Failed. Error Code=-3158
15:14:16 3 SMTP-729(mail27b-platinum.soel5347.com) Reading Failed. Error Code=-3158.

It looks first like it has been rejected, but then accepted. Am I reading this incorrectly?

Essentially yes, but the low detail in the log leaves no clues as to why it might have been accepted despite the SBL listing. The only reason for that I can think of is a router entry that gets around the blacklists.
