Dock is the actual executable, located inside the Dock.app package (full
path /System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app/Contents/MacOS/Dock). Since the
Darwin layer sees packages as directories, I guess it makes sense that shell
scripts have to reference the core executables.

Not that this has a lot to do with SIMS; of course, neither do I anymore
since I retired our two SIMS backup mail servers (one of which was running
on Panther, to return to the original thread topic, and did require a
periodic Classic restart) in favor of two more CGPro servers.
