Follow-up Comment #1:
Ignore only a few files from directories make no sense for me.
Before a commit/update a make clean should fix these problem much simplier.
The .cvsignore files have only a very little subset of files included which
must be ignored if this files should make sense, like pdf, html, *.o and so
on....
