AVaRICE also wants to link against a libbfd, but according to Ted
Roth, only very basic ELF reading functionality is required from that
library, so most of the time, the base system's libbfd.a will do.
It is possible that you have bfd installed in an old version on the
system and have a different version build for avr. I run into heavy
trouble because some header files have different structs inside. No
errors or warnings while compiling but segfaults while running.
The header must be from the version you link against :-) That is the
only reason for this kind of handling. If you have installed same
version for host and avr there is no need to have "special" headers.
