I have tried the spi test with both make do and with check.tcl as described in
the README. I checked the latest tree out yesterday. However, no stdio
activity is observed. Below is the output:
>>> make do
../simulavr.tcl -d atmega128 -f spi.elf -F 1000 \
-s ../../../simulavrxx/examples/spi/spi.tcl

spsr is read only! (0xa8 = main+0x9)
