Wow. That is a lot. 'Twould be nice to hear from the maintainers. There is a lot of synchronization to do.
And I have really forgot one thing. But it's not so interresting for you, because you work on linux. I have changed the make system, so that it is possible, linke on linux, to build simulavr and (from today) also the python module on MingW/windows (but not verilog module and tcl module, because I havn't installed all the neccessary things for that on this windows box) But simulavr works so also on windows, the python module looks good but I havn't tested it yet (I can import this, but I havn't made some more tests)
And yes, to backport this to CVS would be really a lot of work. It's possible, but there are really much changes and the question is: take it all without review and trust, that there are not really big bugs in it or try to cherrypick the changes step by step?
