Hi Petr, sry, I'm absolutely new to simulavr and I don't want to break anything. So I wrote my patch this way to minimize the influence on the other parts of the software and still get the desired functionality I wanted.
The suggestions you've made sound very good to me and I integrated them. But I really can't tell you if they break anything, my own firmware's testsuite [1] runs without complains. It would definitely be better to have one for the simulator itself. Bye, Stan.
