Hi Klaus,
I think, I understand your problems. But ... there is one thing, that's
forever: change! :-)
In your case the problem is, that the complete tcl part is unmaintained!
So I'm not wondering, why you get in trouble. Sorry! But there was so
much undocumented and less documented (and I dont want to tell, that's
now really better ;-) ), so it wasn't possible to maintain it too. For
that it's a good idea to get more regression tests. Not only to have the
possibility to check, if something is broken by a change. A regression
test (if it is a good test!) is also a type of documentation! (I don't
know, if there is a unittest possibility or similar for tcl to check tcl
part too)
MirrorNet and OpenDrain (OpenDrain is just commented out in pin.cpp) are
the same thing. It's used in my opinion only by tcl part and some
examples, connected with tcl. There are 2 similar cases: adcpin.cpp and
pinmon.cpp (only used by an example and only usefull together with tcl)
And, maybe at last thing in your current work, please write me, which
parts in tcl code you have used and should work. So, it's a little bit
more knowledge, what should work and which parts are unchecked.
And a very important question: which tcl/tk version do you use?
cu, Thomas
