BBC has a piece on the future of Strong AI, with Irving Wladawsky-Berger, Noel Sharkey, and Ray Kurzweil. (It's in their Business Daily show, of all places!) It's pretty good as such things go. It is available at the moment at http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/programmes/business_daily.shtml.
Is this just my impression, or does BBC have more singularity-related material, including not-too-sensationalized pieces, than other mainstream media? If so, I wonder who's the motivating force behind this at the BBC.
