Dear All:
According to my limited knowledge, in implentation,
I think UA and Server is the same, that is, it is
difficult to identify the role of UA and Proxy,
so the encoding and decoding should be unified!
According to current RFC2543bis02, the decoding
part
for UA and Proxy is difficult? and what's more, proxy
can not send final response to an invalid OPTIONS and
BYE request? even if Proxy know that BYE request is
wrong, it would not send final response, in
realization, for example, if receicing invalid BYE
request, it can not affect the state machine for
INVITE and continue send to next hop. This is my
opinion.
