Title: The timer question

Dear All:
      I have one question on timer to consult, for
example, UA A send INVITE request to UA B,
without receiving final  response, UA A want to
cancel this request, it will send CANCEL and BYE
request. Then  I think at this time, if CANCEL and
BYE send out. Then the timer for retransmit INVITE
will be cancelled, thus it can shorten the flow in
the network.
    Could anyone give me some suggestion or idea?
