Hi,

A question about CSeq numbers in SIP transactions is
- is it necessary for the CSeq for increase monotonically
from INVITE to BYE or can a BYE have a CSeq that is lesser
than that of the last (re)INVITE.

eg.

  A                       B

<---------INVITE-------
  |---------100---------->|CSeq=101INVITE
---------200OK-------->
<---------ACK----------

---------INVITE------->
  |<--------200OK---------|CSEQ=102INVITE
---------ACK---------->

---------INVITE------->
  |<--------200OK---------|CSEQ=103INVITE
---------ACK---------->

  |<--------BYE-----------|CSEQ=102BYE

Is this legal or should the CSeq be 103BYE ?

Thanks and Regards
Sharath
