Hi all,
This is regarding the Also Header which was proposed some time ago to
handle Call Transfers. In the recent past I have'nt seen anyone talk about
this header in the list, and moreover I could not find a latest draft which
discusses the use of this header for call transfer (It is sent in the Bye
request if u want to transfer your caller/calee to another person). However I
saw a vendor using this header for call transfers, hence was wondering if it
is an IETF accepted header.
The draft "draft-ietf-sip-cc-transfer-04.txt" is I suppose an IETF
accepted draft, and It uses a new Method called "REFER". Hence my question is
to implement Call Transfers, are we supposed to use the new method REFER or
the header Also ? I think the answer is that we should use the new Method
REFER, but just want to be sure before starting to implement it.
