No.
There has not been agreement to pursue DTMF transport in SIP messages. There
is no standards track activity around DTMF in SIP in either the sip or
sipping charters. Any solution based on INFO or other new messages is vendor
proprietary.
The standardized IETF mechanism for DTMF transport is rfc2833. The way to
use this to support applications is described in the URL Medhavi gave.
