I saw the discussion in the SIP mailing list regarding SDP. I didn't
understand how it was left.

Am I supposed to send all (and only) the payloads that I can both send
and receive? Is this true for both the INVITE and the 200 message?

If so, how do you negotiate codecs that you can only send or only
receive?

Normally, you would want to both send and receive the same payload.
This makes everything much easier. Without knowing in advance which
codec is going to be sent, how can you decide which codec to send? If
both sides pick a codec at random, and both start sending, they will
never agree on a codec.

Is there any solution for this?
