i'm one of the co-authors of the sip mib I-D. i'm curious as to what you are
referring to here because i don't know if any such object in our mibs.
when you say you "ame to know from the sipmib objects of IETF the things i
should be monitering" what exactly do you mean? what documents have you
been looking at that mention a SIPL3Index object?
btw, the sip mib draft is just that - a draft. it is in queue for
last call review w/ in sip wg sometime this summer. the current
revision of the draft can be found at:
http://search.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-sip-mib-02.txt
a new revision (-03) will be out in the next couple of weeks.
i wouldn't expect an official RFC until very late 2001 or early 2002.
anything you implement in the meantime, based on a revision of the draft,
is subject to significant changes - "buyer beware".
