Hi! I am Shankar and I am currently a project trainee, in HCL Technologies, Chennai, India. I have been asked to implement a "Stateful Proxy Server for SIP". I have a brief idea on SIP and how its proxy servers work after I went through RFC 2543 for SIP. It would be of great help if you could just guide me about the steps to be followed in this project and where to start from. Just for your information, two other project trainees in our organization have developed a Stateless Proxy Server for SIP and can you tell me if I could use it for the development of my Stateful Proxy Server or should I develop this from scratch.
