Looking into compression issues with SIP, I found a reference in the SIP faq-o-matic to the IP Payload Compression Protocol (RFC 2393). Otherwise the issue does not seem to have sparked a lot of discussion on the sip list(s). Has there been any discussion on any of the sip related lists that I could find in the archives? Any pointers? Is anyone aware of publicly available work on SIP compression, based on RFC 2393 or otherwise?
