Hi Anand

what exactly do u mean by SIP Gateway? is it some IWF like SIP-H323 IWF?
if the gateway is in a different domain as LS, then we use TRIP to perform
inter domain registrations
else it could be a normal SIP Register message.

So there is no signalling between LS and Registrar

Ranjit

The Signalling between the Location server and the Register is not the
SIP,
it is some other protocol like finger,rwhois,LDAP.....
The Rfc will not mention about the signalling b/n the Registar and the
Location server
. it is the other protocols which will do.
