Subject: [Sip-implementors] Public Addres and Private Addres (with ACK
or BYE)

Take a look to this scenario:

Sip user A is "mikymouse" and its IP Addres is 149.35.48.200
Sip user B is "minnie" and its IP Addres is 149.35.48.201
User A & B register themselves with a proxy at the domain
"disneyland.com":
    [EMAIL PROTECTED]
    [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When "mikymouse" wants to INVITE "minnie" he send a sip message to the
proxy
that start with
    INVITE [EMAIL PROTECTED] ....

When "minnie" responds with the OK "mikymouse can read the "minnie"'s
private IP
address from the Contact header

    Contact: <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

When "mikymouse" has to send an ACK or a BYE he uses:
    ACK [EMAIL PROTECTED] ....
or
    BYE [EMAIL PROTECTED] ....

Can he use the private IP Addres ?
i.e.
    ACK [EMAIL PROTECTED] .....
or
    BYE [EMAIL PROTECTED] ....

A proxy can reject a sip message that contains the private IP Addres?

Thanks
Lorenzo
