Hi, I want to know, if our Registrar or UA, need to listen for any other multicast IP address, other than sip.mcast.net(224.0.1.75). From the link, http://www.iana.org/assignments/multicast-addresses , I find that only 224.0.1.75 is allocated to sip.
If so(i.e.more multicast adresses needed), how are those Multicast IP addresses(values) chosen,if the UA or Registrar is to be online on the Internet? And when do we really need more than one multicast group? Any replies, suggestions, pointers in this regard would be helpful. N.B.: If you have already read this mail, please ignore this.I have already posted this once on this mailing list. But posting the same again under a different subject, as I didn't get reply for my previous posting. Thanks, Prakash. _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
