I have a ISUP-SIP question, from an ISUP perspective, we can receive
mid call messages such as INF FAC etc, which can be carried via SIP
INFO, in a SIP network.
My question is, if we receive multiple mid-call messages from
the ISUP side is it legal to send out multiple INFO's w/o receiving
acknowledgements for them ?
The reason I ask this is because a INFO is defined as a regular transaction,
and in the bis06 it says:
" A TU MUST NOT initiate a new regular transaction within a dialog
while a regular transaction is in progress (in either direction)
within that dialog. "
But this has been removed from future versions of the bis. Has the bis
become lenient towards sending overlapping requests ? And is it
valid/recommended to use muliple instances of the INFO method w/o
getting acknowledged in such a scenario ?
