my guess would be an ack, followed by a bye message, just as if the SDP offer was in the in the 200 ok, and was not acceptable by the other side...
what do you think? -mike feldman -----Original Message----- From: Andreas Bystrm [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, May 23, 2002 6:42 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Sip-implementors] What if error in 200 OK Hi all! I'm wondering what action should be taken by a user agent if it receives an 200 OK response that has errors. An example: User A send an INVITE request to user B. This request contains all SDP data for setting upp the call. Now user B send a 200 OK to A, but B has not set "m-field" in the SDP data. User A is therefore unable to set up the call. What actions should user A take? Should it just ignore it and wait for another response? Thanks in advance!
