Hi, Is there any way in SIP to convey a phone number that can be used for display (caller ID) in an outbound call to the PSTN network?
The UAC would need to make use of an existing SIP header or parameter. The UAC may not know if the call is destined for the PSTN so it wouldn't make sense to try to carry this in the display name of a From: SIP URL. Tim
