Hi, Consider the scenario….. A stateful proxy receives a INVITE request. It forks 3 client transactions parallely. Now say that of these 3, 2 generated 200 OK’s and one
timed out (for this case timers Come in handy.). Now my question is Should the proxy forward both these 200 OK responses and let
the client choose which One he/she wants to ack? If so the corresponding ACK can be found by looking at the Tag param in the TO field ? The other transaction which did not get selected or
acknowledged is only destroyed then? One more Question is ….. Is the requestURI of the ACK is going to be
the same as the original request ? Or Is the requestURI of the ACK is going to be
the one in the contact header field of the 200 OK? Thank you in advance… Regards Ravish. Member – Engineering. July systems |
