Subject: [Sip-implementors] SDP media attribute and dynamic payload types

Hi

We are working on a low-cost implementation of SIP and SDP
for a microcontroller, and I have a few questions regarding
the media attribute field in SDP.

The SDP rfc says:

     The general form of an rtpmap attribute is:

     a=rtpmap:<payload type> <encoding name>/<clock rate>[/<encoding
     parameters>]

Can you tell me where the different strings for <encoding name>
are defined ? I have seen strings like PCMU/8000 and PCMA/8000
so I asume they are defined in RFC1890 (static payload types)

Are they case-sensitive or case-insensitive ?

thanks in advance

/alfred
