Hi,
I have implemented a stateful proxy and am currently testing the same
using
Ubiquity's Helmsman user agent(UA) and T-PROXY (third party) proxy.
Following is the flow...
1)
REGISTER FORWARD
REGISTER
UA -------------> MY PROXY --------------> T-PROXY <----------------
UA
(Sip:alice) (REGISTRAR &
PROXY) (sip:bob)
So in this call flow 2 UA's REGISTER with the T-PROXY Proxy. Alice
registers through MY PROXY (which just forwards the request to the
T-PROXY).
REGISTRATION is fine and it is indicated in both the UA's.
Now alice's UA tries to establish a CALL with bob by using bob's URI
(sip:bob). For this call MY PROXY starts a client transaction and
forwards it to T-PROXY which in turn contacts Bob's UA. The rest I will
try and illustrate through the call-flow as follows
UA --------------> MY PROXY| ----------------->T-PROXY
|-----------------UA
(Alice) | | | |
Bob
INVITE | | INVITE | |
--------------->| |----------------->| |
<----100--------| | 100 TRYING | |
| |<-----------------| |
INVITE
| | |
|---------------->
| | | | 100
TRYING
|
|<----------------
100 | |<----100----------|
|<-----180--------
<--------------| |<-----180---------|
|<-----200--------
<-----180------| |<-----200---------|
<-----200------| |<-----200---------|
<-----200------| |<-----200---------|
. .
. .
My Question is Why is the UAC(Alice) not sending an ACK? Are there some
known issues ?. What are the reasons under which a UAC might fail to
send an ACK?
If the response failed to contain certain info ?....
Thank you in advance,
Regards,
Ravish
