Hi, What should a stateful proxy do when a transport error occurs while forwarding a INVITE response to UAC ? It can send CANCEL to all forked branches where transaction is in Proceeding state, for all in calling state wait and send CANCEL on receiving 1xx.
But what does it do with branches which have returned 2xx responses?, Does it send a BYE(Is a proxy allowed to send a BYE) or leave the UAS to get timed-out.
