Hi, I have a question about To Tags in register messages.
Does the UA need to maintain the To tag received in a Registration response(sent by the registrar) and include it in any subsequent registration refreshes? Does it need to maintain the To tag received in a registration response(200 for Registration) for any reason? Also, RFC 3261 states In section 10.2 : "A REGISTER request does not establish a dialog." and In section 8.1.1.2 says "A request outside of a dialog MUST NOT contains a To tag". Do the above statements imply that a registration message (refresh/ otherwise) should never carry a TO TAG. Would really appreciate it if someone could please clarify.
