Hi, I am running SIP-enabled Cisco AS5300 gateways with 12.2 XB2
In an incoming INVITE message from an IAD, the SDP contains: a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000 a=rtpmap:96 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:96 0-15 The resulting SESSION PROGRESS from the Cisco includes only: a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 Any ideas as to why my gateway is ignoring the other codec? As near as I can tell from their docs, Cisco support codec negotiation via SDP exchanges, and I am certainly not using any unusual capabilites, just Mu-Law 711 and g729...
