Interesting situation ... I don't think SIP offers anything like this; it has to be proprietery communication between B & C. BTW: I do see quite a few problems (read headaches) in call state transfer, irrespective of the mechanism.
SIP does support Call Transfer and Call Redirect, though, which seem to be workable solutions in most cases. What can be the general mechanisms? A session between A & B has been established A <==> B Now B wants to transport all its state machine to C so that it can transparently get out of call. B ------ C So is there any way for B to tell its call state to C using SIP? Thanx in advance Regards, Salman _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
