Hello, If a SIP message arrives on a port that does not have SIP service enabled (perhaps not 5060), what should the response be of the SIP device? or will the device handle any request to any port? The question has arisen because with a DNS bind (port 53) if the DNS service is not running on that port of the server, the response is an ICMP unreachable (on UNIX anyhow). Is there any such thing for SIP?
Thank you. Jason Tomforde. _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
