Dear all:

I know that you need an ALG or some specific firewalls to enable SIP communication between private networks and Internet.

What about SIP (and RTP) across 2 different subnets (say 10.1.1.1 and 192.168.1.1)?

What I am thinking is that as long as there is a gateway between these 2 subnets, things should work without any ALG at all.  Am I right?

Thanks in advance.

Patrick
