Hello folks! In our testing, we are facing a peculiar problem. 1. Pingtel originates the INVITE and sends it from port: 1072. The "via" line does not have a port specified nor the contact but both have IP of UAC itself. 2. The destination UAC (X-lite) sends responses 100/180/200 to this port 1072. 3. Pingtel is listening only on 5060 and loses all the responses instead keeps retransmitting INVITEs.
My question is what is the correct approach to sending back responses? Alternatively, does the caller have to maintain the same "source port" and port specified in "via"??
