Subject: [Sip-implementors] Allow Header in response to OPTIONS

Hello,

draft-ietf-sip-publish-03 specify that:

"In the response to an OPTIONS request, the ESC SHOULD include "PUBLISH" to the list of allowed methods in the Allow header field."

Rfc3261, section 11.2 "Processing of OPTIONS Request" specify that:

"If the response is generated by a proxy, the Allow header field SHOULD be omitted as it is ambiguous since a proxy is method agnostic."

So what should be in the Allow header of a SIP Server that functions as ESC, Proxy and Registrar?

Regrads,

Adi.
