You can try the following way Install some publicly available demo sip User Agents (HearMe, Pingtel etc) and make call between them. See the SIP packets using a sniffer(like Ethreal). Install Proxy servers like SER and make call between the user agents through the proxy.

Right now reading, to develop a SIP phone ( User Agent ). Collected some details on open stacks on SIP. I have a clarification on the testing of the SIP phone. Please let me know, whether two a user agents can be connected on the same LAN and test the voice calls between the user agents without any proxy server etc..? In other words whether the User agent (phone) will have the capability to initiate the call as well as receive the call by default as per the SIP standards? Or any new modules need to developed and integrated in the SIP phone achievde the same. Please reply. Thanks, -Suresh _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
