chouck, There are wonderful books/tutorials out there. Also the SIP related IETF specs are written very well (try to read 3GPP specs and you will know what we mean ;-)) As veteran SIP developers we thought to ease the life of new comer collegues and came up with an annotated version of the main SIP RFC (~40% is done by now). When ready (in about a month) we will let you know. We will most likely not charge for it, but provide it to the SIP community as our modest contrib. (perhaps we will ask for a minimal handling fee - not sure).
Other than that just go ahead and read the Digest Authntication RFC 2617, and send questions to the list if/when you get stuck... The very large tutorial is just way to extensive and doesnt explain encryption with md5 or anything. Please let me know if you know where I could learn to actually write software for this protocol, thanks -chad _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
