Hi,

First, this kind of discussion should take place on the sip-implementors
list, not the sip list. I am moving it there.

Next, it is difficult from you message to understand what it is that you
are trying to do. The little information you give suggests some
confusion with how sip works, but I am not sure of that.

It would be helpful if you could explain the the context and the
objective first. Then it should be possible to suggest a solution.

Since you are trying to change an existing call/dialog, please first
describe the establishment of the call - the initial INVITE request,
response, and ACK, the addresses of the caller and callee, and any
proxies involved. Then describe what change you want to make.

        Good Luck,
        Paul Kyzivat
