Nenad,
Setting the Session-Expires header to 0 will turn off the timer -
the call is unaffected the requirement | expectation to send a receive
session refreshes is removed. Not including Session-Expires is the same as
setting it to 0 and therefore, as described above, it will turn the
feature off.

Regards,

Wayne.

        Subject: [Sip-implementors] How can refresher turn-off session-timers
 extension

Hi,

I have a question related to Sip extension called session-timers, and I
would appreciate if you find a time to answer it.

>From Session-timers draft I don't see how can refresher turn-off
session-timers in the middle of dialog?
In the draft (version 15) page 13 it is said: "In a session refresh
request sent within a dialog with an active session timer,
the Session-Expires header field SHOULD be present". But it does not
say that if it is not present session-timers should be turned-off,
is it supposed to say that?

However, for the other side it is explicitly said that sending 2xx
replay to refresh without Session-Expires filed will turn extension off.

Thank you,

Nenad
